Any idea
how many bloggers and YouTubers there are that focus on nails? I haven’t got a
clue, but I do have my favorites! Sticking to YouTubers, I think the trick to
being a good nail-YouTuber is not to just be creative, good at explaining and
good at filming your tutorials. Just as important is to be yourself. There are
some good channels who don’t put a lot of personality in it, but I personally
prefer the ones that do. The more “mainstream” channels that just show you the ‘how-to’s’
are useful if you’re just looking for a certain design and want to know how to
get it on your nails, but the channels that show the girls (or boys, don't want to exclude anyone) that put their personality, their sense of humor and their
opinion in their video’s, are the ones that stick with me and get me back to
their channel every time! Even though I do prefer the more “quirky” channels, I
do have a few mainstream channels that I really like. In this post I want to
share with you my top 3 channels on YouTube, everyone should watch!
Cutepolish
With over 3 million subscribers this is a well-known channel. It’s a channel
full of nail art designs by 5 different nail artists. It’s full of useful tips
and tricks on how to get that professional looking design on your own nails and
it has a huge amount of different designs. The ladies are kind and good at what
they do and I get inspiration from it. I do prefer certain artists, Hannah for
instance who also has her own channel as HannahRoxNails, but I’ll leave that to
your own opinion. All artists have their own channel, so if you have a favorite, like me, you can subscribe to their channel. It’s a fun channel for nail art inspiration and tips and
tricks. This is a channel that I would grade as mainstream but I do think it
stands out in quality and variety.
Kelli Marissa
Kelli has over 125.000 subscribers today and I just love her. She is sweet and funny,
down to earth, humble and creative! She is an amateur nail artist, but she is
very good and her tutorials are straight to the point and easy to follow. I
love how she does put her personality in her video’s and how you can see she
clearly enjoys what she does. She is definitely someone who makes me enthusiastic
about nail art and offers good advice, tips and tricks, not only on nail art,
but also nail care and products.
Simply Nailogical
What can I say, I am addicted to Cristine’s holo channel! With over 3,5 million
subscribers she is taking over nail-related YouTube! You don’t even have to
like nail polish to like her channel, just ask my boyfriend. Cristine is too
funny, yet down to earth and definitely on the quirky side of YouTubers. If you’re
looking for tutorials, just go to those specific playlists that she also has
and are just as funny, but if you want a laugh and enjoy nail polish, nail art
and everything nail in different ways, just browse her video’s, sit back and
relax ‘cause you’re in for a ride.
So, these
three channels are my top 3 in involuntary order. Check them out and let me
know if you enjoy them just as much as I do!
